**ANOME Announces 2nd Audition: Seeking Three Male Character Designers **
Aww Inc., headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo and led by Takayuki Moriya, has launched the “ANOME” virtual human streaming project. The initiative is focused on recruiting talents who will perform streaming activities using male-designed avatars. They’re conducting auditions from October 6 to October 20, 2023, with applications open during this window.
The ANOME project stands out as a stellar endeavor in the world of virtual human creations. Built around the theme “Another me,” ANOME leverages state-of-the-art 3DCG technology to offer unique productions and expressions to fans. Apart from social media communication, these virtual humans can also engage in real-time interactions owing to advanced streaming technology.
Selected participants will benefit from:
1. Real-time, world-class 3DCG avatars and streaming environments.
1. A guaranteed activity tenure of one year.
1. Comprehensive support, including consultations and distribution training.
However, ANOME does emphasize certain requisites for prospective participants. They must be at least 18 years old by October end 2023 and reside in Japan. They also should possess relevant visas for entertainment activities in Japan if they’re foreign nationals. Additional requirements include being free from binding contracts with other production entities, the capability to stream for a minimum of 60 hours per month, and residence in Tokyo or its suburbs. A few preferences include individuals with gaming achievements or multilingual abilities.
The selection process is thorough, starting with a document screening based on application forms. Successful applicants will then undergo an online interview, followed by a video assignment submission. The final phase involves an in-person interview scheduled in Tokyo between late November to early December.
Special judge Taiki Iwanaga, renowned for his leadership in launching virtual YouTubers and other strategic VR-related endeavors, is associated with the project. Under the ANOME banner, two virtual talents have already made their mark: Miki Nina acne and Meidugahara Sarasa, both offering distinct virtual experiences to their audience.
Aww Inc., the organization behind ANOME, is a pioneer in harnessing virtual technology, currently producing multiple virtual humans, including imma. They also delve into AI research and the fashion brand business. Interested individuals or corporations seeking more information about this initiative can explore the ANOME official website.
