Notes:
The Real-time Control System (RCS) is a reference model architecture that was developed for software-intensive, real-time computing control problem domains. RCS is a modular, hierarchical architecture that is designed to provide a framework for the development of control systems that have to operate in real-time environments. It provides a set of common building blocks and design patterns that can be used to create a wide variety of control systems. RCS is widely used in many different domains, including robotics, aerospace, automotive, and industrial control.
